Your drawing and settings stay on your device. FoldSketch has no account or developer backend and includes no ads or analytics. Apple handles voluntary support purchases. A picture leaves the app only through the save or share actions you choose and possible system backups.

Drawings and settings on your device
FoldSketch stores the current page, including strokes, mirrored imprints, and paper choice, locally. A previous valid save helps recover from a damaged save. Damaged local saves may be retained for recovery after a storage error. The app also stores settings and local choices about voluntary support.
There is no app-operated cloud sync, user account, or developer server for drawings. The developer cannot access this data remotely. Device backups follow your system settings.
Folding and device orientation
FoldSketch processes fold state and device orientation locally to position the drawing area and trigger mirrored imprints. These values are not sent to the developer.
Photos and sharing
When you save a picture to Photos, iOS asks for permission to add photos. FoldSketch does not need read access to your existing photo library. You can change this permission in iOS Settings.
Sharing sends your exported PNG to the app or service you select. Its privacy terms govern further processing. Saved or shared copies remain outside FoldSketch even if you clear the page in the app.
Optional support through Apple
All drawing features remain free. The three support levels are optional one-time purchases that you can repeat. They do not start a subscription or unlock extra features.
StoreKit communicates with Apple to load product information and prices and process purchases. FoldSketch receives the product and transaction information needed to verify and finish a purchase. Apple handles payment; the developer does not receive your full payment details. Completed transaction identifiers are stored locally to recognise confirmed purchases and avoid processing them twice. After confirmed support, the additional heart entry in navigation is hidden; support remains available in Settings.
No advertising or analytics
FoldSketch uses no advertising, analytics, tracking, or crash analytics services. Drawing works without an internet connection. The app uses neither the camera nor microphone and offers no public profiles or posts.
Email requests
If you email us, we use your sender address, message, files you choose to attach, and technical email metadata to handle your request. We keep them only as long as needed for that purpose or to meet legal retention duties. Contacting us does not give us access to data stored locally in the app.
Deletion and your rights
Deleting the app normally removes its local data, subject to operating-system and backup behaviour. It does not remove exported pictures, system backups, or Apple's purchase history. The developer cannot delete local app data remotely.
Where legal requirements apply, you may ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, or a portable copy of personal data we hold, such as an email request, or object to its processing. You may also complain to a data protection authority. Use the contact address below.
